Which pond pump should I choose for my pond?
All pond pond pumps pond pumps are not all the same, so before buying one, it's a good idea to think about the pump's intended use.
For a water feature, for example, the pump needs to have different characteristics than for a waterfall or pond filter. For a fountain, the pump must be able to generate pressure to obtain height. Water quantity is therefore not a determining factor. A filter pump, on the other hand, must be able to handle large quantities of potentially dirty water at low pressure. With very powerful pumps, such as the large elimaxpumps, it's perfectly possible to connect several decorative elements or even a small stream.
However, you should be aware that longer runs and additional elements require greater capacity
