Description :
The UV filter Ubbink AlgClear 2500 keeps your pond water clean and germ free, when used, you will quickly notice a stop of algae growth, then their destruction by means of UV light.
The AlgClear 2500 UV-C unit can be used in ponds with a maximum volume of 2500 L with fish to 5000 L for a pond without fish
Principle:
At the inlet, the water is rotated around the UVC glass through a spiral inside the housing. This allows a longer and more efficient irradiation of the water. The device is VDE certified.

Understand how the UV filter works
Its principle is to sterilize the water by eliminating bacteria harmful to fish and phytoplankton that gives the water in ponds a greenish appearance. It uses the radiation of the UV lamp which uses the most germicidal band of radiation, the C band, whose wavelength is between 230 and 280 nanometers.
