Valve regulating the flow of nutrient solution irrigation.
For system Autopot.
The AQUAvalve is a simple but remarkably efficient irrigation device. The AQUAvalve is the main part of the irrigation system Autopothowever, it should be handled with care and certain instructions should be followed.
If you keep the AQUAvalve clean and its tray free of obstructions and soil particles, the AQUAvalve will help you water & feed your plants for many years.
|
The AQUAvalve is included with all AutoPot systems. Once connected to its tank, the AQUAvalve will control the flow of water to the plants, without the need for pumps, pressurized water lines, electricity, or timers.
Once connected to the reservoir/tank, the AQUAvalve will open and allow water to fill the tray to the predetermined 20mm level. When the level is reached, the AQUAvalve will automatically close and prevent the water from continuing to fill the tray until all the water has been consumed by the plants.
When all the water has been consumed by the plants and the tray is empty, the AQUAvalve opens again and allows water to fill the tray. As the plants grow and depending on the weather conditions, the AQUAvalve will open and close more often depending on the plants' needs.
By filling the tray and allowing it to drain completely before refilling it, the AQUAValve provides your plants with a wet/dry cycle maximizing root oxygenation. At AutoPot, we call this technology PCI (Plant Controlled Irrigation)
