This system makes lighting your charcoal barbecue a breeze. Here's how it works:

• Remove the bottom grill and insert three newspaper torches into the ignition tube.
• Replace the bottom grill.
• Place a pile of charcoal or briquettes in the barbecue bowl.
• Light the newspaper with a long match or lighter through one of the two holes at the bottom of the unit.
• Make sure you create sufficient air circulation by using the adjustable air supply at the bottom of the unit. Air will circulate from bottom to top through the holes in the bottom grill, allowing you to light the fire in your barbecue.
• After about 15 minutes, your charcoal will be glowing.
• Pour a little more charcoal or briquettes into the bowl until it's half-full.
• Wait until all the charcoal/briquettes are gray.
• Now you're ready to start your barbecue and enjoy delicious food!
