A ceramic cell vibrates at three times the speed of sound and creates a mist sprayed in droplets smaller than 5 microns. The water does not run off the leaves, the dry mist prevents mold. The drops, absorbed by the leaves, are large enough to carry nutrients. Very useful for cuttings and the growth of plants that require more than 70% humidity, such as orchids.
