What is a humidifier? An electric device that allows to increase thehumidity in a space, a room, an office, a culture cupboard.

Why use a humidifier?

Humidifying a room when the air is too dry for example requires a humidifier.

When to use a humidifier?

To use a humidifier is particularly recommended in winter, when the heating turns at full speed to humidify the air which becomes dry in interior. But its use does not dispense with a golden rule: it is necessary to air your house regularly to renew the air in question if possible apart from the peaks of pollution. Some humidifiers display the humidity level of the room on a digital screen, and work until the right level is reached thanks to a hygrostat integrated in the machine. • do not place the unit too close to a wall or a piece of furniture, the humidity could damage them,
• do not place the device near a heat source such as a radiator.
• in the cupboards of cultures place it in a corner or in the center if it is possible

How to maintain and clean your humidifier?

• use only tap water, if necessary filtered with a carafe
• rinse the tank at least once a day to ensure hygiene
• empty the water from the appliance and dry it if you are not using it
• replace the anti-limescale filter according to the recommendations in your user manual
