The Cool Tube 125mm is a glass-ventilated reflector with a tubular shape. The fact of enclosing your bulb in this Pyrex glass tube (4mm) will bring a gain of temperature (-4 to -5°C on average to gain!) and will allow to bring considerably closer (safety distances divided by 2) your reflector of the top of the plants. Thus :
- for a 250W lighting equipped with Cool Tube : 10 to 15cm from your plants.
- for a 400W lighting equipped with Cool Tube : 20 to 25cm from your plants.
- for a 600W lighting equipped with Cool Tube : 25 to 30cm from your plants.
In order to cool the Cool Tube, the presence of an extractor connected to this reflector is imperative. To make this connection, the Combi sheath in 125mm is recommended in relation to its resistance to heat.
