Hydrocrystal
Mix Hydrocrystal with your substrate to limit your watering, save water and obtain a better aeration of the soil. It retains water and allows you to reduce the frequency of watering by 30 to 50%. It favors the installation and growth of plants, and remains effective for a minimum period of two years. Hydrocrystal can absorb and release up to 200 times its dry weight in water. 100% biodegradable and non-toxic, its pH is neutral. Easy to apply, it is compatible with all types of living plants and acts as a slow mechanism for soluble fertilizers.
Directions for use
Mix HYDROCRYSTAL homogeneously with the substrate. The dose should be adapted to each type of substrate according to water requirements, plant characteristics, growing conditions and climate. It is recommended not to fill the pots or containers completely. Leave at least 15% empty. By hydrating, the substrate will swell.
Dosage / directions for use
- Pot culture (mixed in substrates, potting soil): 750 g/m³ of potting soil. 2 gr / 3 liters of substrates.
- Shrub planting: 30 g per plant for a root diameter of 30 cm.
- Transplantation: dig a hole of about 3 times the volume of the root system. Mix with the backfill soil 1 to 2 kg/m³ leaving aside some untreated soil. Place the foot of the plant at the bottom of the hole and fill the hole with the treated soil. Cover the surface with 5 cm of untreated soil. Do not put the dry unmixed product at the bottom of the hole.
- Flower beds: 13 kg/100 m² on a depth of 15 cm
- Lawn and turf: Spread 20 to 50 g/m² on the soil surface. Incorporate into the soil to a depth of 10 cm maximum.
