Basil Marseillais

Description
Basil Marseillais has green leaves of average size more or less clear.
More fragrant than the Genovese, its taste is finer.
Very adapted to the culture in pot.

Growing instructions
Grow in rich, moist soil. Exposure in full sun.

Sowing: with 0,5 cm of depth in pot or in full ground in line with 20 cm of spacing between the plants.
Too much watering during the lifting causes a melting of seedlings.
Plant in the ground or in pots around May 10 or 15.

Emergence: in 3 to 4 days in soil at 18°C
Requires light and heat to germinate.

Soil preparation: Loosen the soil (20 cm deep) before sowing with an organic fertilizer (rich in humus).

Cut 3 cm above the ground so that it can go up: by watering regularly you will be able to make 2 cuts, and make new stems grow.

Associated culture :
Plant basil between the tomato plants, it will repel aphids (it is the integrated fight) and it keeps mosquitoes away.
