Preservation: two days in the vegetable bin, for a better conservation hull them only at the time of cooking them.
Origin: the bean is originating from the East.
Advice from La Semence Bio® : you can stump them and trellis them to support them. Do not prune them because the bean plants are very attractive for early aphids and thus become a host plant for ladybugs and auxiliary insects.
In the kitchen
A springtime treat, the bean can be eaten raw with salt for its freshness. But it can also be steamed with olive oil and lemon, fried with garlic and parsley, mashed... Take advantage of the short bean season!
Beans contain fiber and protein like all legumes but also vitamin C.
