Sowing: 1 cm deep in the ground. Thin out by keeping only one plant every 10 cm. Repeat sowing every 20 days.
Emergence: in 4 to 7 days.
Watering: regular in summer, less in autumn.
Harvest: harvest turnips before frost.
Storage: 3 to 4 days in a cool place, can be stored in a cellar in a silo after air drying for one day.
Origin: native of Europe, it is consumed daily until the 18th century and the arrival of the potato.
Advice from La Semence Bio® : it is in primeur (immature harvest: new turnips) that you will have the most beautiful roots.
