Growing Guide
Soil care: deep, rich, moist soil. No acidic soil. Exposure: sunny.
Sowing: 1 cm deep in the nursery, transplant deeply at the 6 leaf stage, 50 cm between plants and rows.
Emergence: in 10 to 15 days in soil at 20°C.
Watering: regular.
Harvest: cut the flower when the buds are tight.
Preservation : one week in a cool place in the vegetable bin.
Origin : very appreciated in the Antiquity by the Greeks and the Romans. It fell into oblivion before the Italians introduced it in France. In the 17th century, finally, the multiplication of its culture, by sowing, develops.

In the kitchen
Cook cauliflower raw or cooked but avoid cooking it too long. Don't forget to eat the stems too, once peeled they can be cooked like the heads.
