Description: the flat turnip of Milan forms a bulging root, fleshy and flattened, with white flesh and pink-purple collar. Its coloring is beautiful and well defined. Its flesh is fine and very tasty.

Growing Guide
Soil care: easy to grow, likes rich soil but is happy with poor soil. Appreciates humidity and heat.
Sowing: 1 cm deep in the ground. Thin out by keeping only one plant every 10 cm. Repeat sowing every 20 days.
Emergence: in 4 to 7 days.
Watering: regular in summer, less in autumn.
Harvest: harvest turnips before frost.
Storage: 3 to 4 days in a cool place, can be stored in a cellar in a silo after air drying for one day.
Origin: native of Europe, it is consumed daily until the 18th century and the arrival of the potato.
