Growing Guide
Soil care: deep, rich, moist soil.
Sowing: 1 cm deep in the nursery, transplant at the 6 leaf stage, 50 cm between plants and rows.
Emergence: in 6 to 9 days in soil at 22°C.
Watering: water frequently and copiously.
Harvest: cut as needed the leaves at ground level.
Storage: pulled out with its roots, ribbed celery can be stored for a few weeks in a cellar.
Origin : Native to the Mediterranean, celery was not considered a vegetable, but a medicinal plant, until the Renaissance.
