AUBERGINE JAPANESE Pickling
Description
The eggplant Japanese pickling produces long, thin and curved fruits of
20 cm and 5 cm of diameter, of brilliant purple color. Its flesh is very soft and mellow with a pure white color.
Mid-early variety.
Cycle of 80 to 90 days from planting.
Hardy and vigorous plant with a high uniform productivity. Adapted to the culture of full champ and under cover.
Guide of culture
Soil loosened on 20 cm. Very sunny exposure. Requires a lot of heat, water frequently.
Sowing: 1 cm deep in a bucket. Transplant at 50 cm distance between plants and 60 cm between rows then stake.

Cultural practice
Sow in clods of 4 x 4 cm. To bury seeds with 3 mm of depth.
Transplant deeply (as soon as the plant has 8 cm) in humus-rich and fresh soil.
Water frequently but sparingly.
Depending on your habits, eggplants can be pruned.
Clean all the shoots from the main stem (shoots from the gourmet foot...) on 30 cm height, and then keep all the rest.
Thus its foliage will be an ideal shelter for the auxiliaries of your organic crops.
Stake it.
This crop requires a little more heat than tomatoes or peppers.
