- Citric acid monohydrate is obtained by fermentation.
- Advantages: Acidic agent, buffering agent, totally soluble (up to 590g/L in a solution at 20°C).
- Acidifying properties: lowers the pH when dissolved in a liquid.
- PH value = 1.7 (100g/L)
- Citric acid dissolves limestone and also has fungicidal, bactericidal and anti-algal properties.
- It is 100% biodegradable and is safe for humans and the environment.
CAUTION :
