What is the stabilization of plants ?
The stabilization of plants is a totally ecological process consisting in replacing the sap by glycerin.
This substance, close to sugar, is 100% biodegradable.
Thanks to this natural preservation technique, our indoor plants stay green and beautiful, without any maintenance and whatever the light.
A simple dusting is enough to keep their brightness.
Use
the stabilized plants are 100% natural.
that is why it is necessary to respect certain rules in order to ensure them an optimal beauty and life span:
Stabilized plants and flowers are 100% natural and ecological. They are the result of a unique process of conservation of plants, based on the replacement of the sap by a stabilizing treatment product which allows these plants to keep their flexibility and natural freshness without any maintenance.
To obtain a satisfactory result, the flowers and foliage are harvested at the moment of their life cycle, they present the most beautiful aspect. They are then sorted to go to the stabilization room. Here, a micro-climate is recreated in which the perfect balance between humidity, heat and light are constantly controlled. The plants are placed in long tubs where a liquid mixture of glycerine, water and food coloring flows. During this process, the plant's sap evaporates and this new liquid replaces it. After a few days the liquid has completely replaced the sap.
The plants are then rinsed and hung in a drying room for a few days. A new stage of quality control and cleaning takes place, before the plants leave the factory.
