The Volcania range is designed with a water retention system, this planter with a capacity of 98L and a dimension of 99.5x39x43 cm, can be perfectly combined with the Volcania square planter, in superposition or side by side to create harmonious flowered spaces according to your imagination.

In short, the Volcania planter is a practical decoration pot! Its color allows you to associate all the colors of plant species that you like in a natural way thanks to its pebble gray aspect.

Our advice

When repotting an indoor plant, whether green or flowering, use clay balls at the bottom of the pot to create a draining layer (and thus facilitate the flow of water in the soil). The roots will not be asphyxiated. The clay balls will keep the humidity at the bottom of the pot.

How does the water retention zone work?

For indoor use, it is not recommended to pierce the planter. Clay balls around the "stud" at the bottom of the planter, along with moderate watering will suffice to maintain your plant. The water will go up by capillary action.
For an outside use, we advise you to pierce the zones indicated under the " plot ", that will allow to keep a retention zone which will bring the necessary water contribution to your plants.
The total evacuation is recommended for geographical areas with high precipitation.

Substrate Light Mix by Platinium Soil

Finally a special soil for intensive cultivation ....

PLATINIUM substrates are specially designed for the successful cultivation and planting of indoor plants. They are composed of the best raw materials available on the market: sieved peat moss in different fractions, black peat, perlite and an adapted fertilization. The fractions used and the fertilization are optimized according to the desired application of the product. Thus we offer you Light Mix, Grow Mix and Royal Mix. PLATINIUM substrates offer a high availability of water for the plant, thanks to the use of carefully selected peat, but at the same time an optimal aeration, thanks to the structure of the peat after sifting and the addition of perlite.

The Light Mix is suitable for sowing and cutting and ensures a good start for your crop. This substrate contains only a basic mineral fertilization for the start-up and thus allows the user to bring the desired type of fertilization.
