The Volcania range is designed with a water retention system. This 98L planter, measuring 99.5x39x43 cm, can be perfectly combined with the Volcania square planter, either side-by-side or one above the other, to create harmonious flowering spaces to suit your imagination.

All in all, the Volcania planter is a practical decorative pot! Thanks to its pebble-grey finish, you can combine it with any color of plant you like, in a natural way.

Our advice

When repotting an indoor plant, whether green or flowering, use clay balls at the bottom of the pot to create a draining layer (and thus facilitate the flow of water into the soil). The roots won't be asphyxiated. The clay beads will maintain ambient humidity at the bottom of the pot.

How does the water retention zone work?

For indoor use, we don't recommend piercing the planter. Clay balls around the "stud" at the bottom of the planter, together with moderate watering, will suffice to maintain your plant. The water will then rise by capillary action.
For outdoor use, we recommend drilling holes in the areas indicated below the "plot", to maintain a retention zone that will provide the necessary water for your plants.
Total drainage is recommended for geographical areas with high precipitation.

Light Mix substrate by Platinium Soil

PLATINIUM substrates are specially designed for the successful cultivation and planting of indoor plants. They are composed of the best raw materials available on the market: sieved blond peat in different fractions, black peat, perlite and an appropriate fertilization. The fractions used and the fertilization are optimized according to the desired application of the product. We offer Light Mix, Grow Mix and Royal Mix. PLATINIUM substrates offer high water availability for the plant, thanks to the use of carefully selected peat, but at the same time optimum aeration, thanks to the structure of the peat after sieving and the addition of perlite.

Light Mix is suitable for sowing and cutting, and ensures a good start to your crop. This substrate contains only a basic mineral fertilizer for start-up, allowing the user to provide the type of fertilization desired.
